The ScaleArc team had a fantastic time as the lead sponsor for our customer Dell at its annual Make-a-Wish golf fund raising event. We were humbled and honored to meet the Jesus family – the young teenage son is now cancer free, and joy was all over his face as he shared how the foundation made his wish of meeting the Green Bay Packers come true last December.

Dell and its sponsors together raised enough for another 15 wishes to come true, and we were proud to share our support. It’s a great way to continue our fantastic partnership with Dell. We’re so proud that every transaction in North and South America on Dell.com runs through ScaleArc software, as we front end their SQL Server deployments. Dell has deployed 100s of instances of ScaleArc, baking us into their architecture so they can achieve full redundancy with active Master deployments in each data center pairing.

I wish I could say my golfing game was an equal success. The wild turkeys and road runners we encountered on the course had nothing to fear from my drives off the tee. But I am getting better at my BBQ game. I was three for three on meals consumed with brisket, which included a famous Rudy’s breakfast taco – who knew you could have brisket for breakfast?!
